The Bean

The Bean, in Mesilla, NM, is one of those wonderful little discoveries made on a road trip.This coffee shop is that good it causes you to talk about it for weeks afterwards. You will find The Bean has all the fine features of a small town coffee shop in rural America, a beautiful location, good coffee, great staff, and yummy food! It was a wonderful place to park, have a cup, and take a pause on our road trip back to Mesa AZ.

The Bean in Mesilla NM

This wonderful shop just right of the main road leading into Mesilla, NM, from Interstate 10.  Go south on Avenida de Mesilla almost a mile, and it will be on your left, with parking just east of the shop.

What did you find at The Bean

First of all when we got there we were surprised by how busy it was on a Sunday morning. Everything was going fast, including table space, the staff seemed to be handling the crowd very well, and our drinks were made with care.

Find  yourself in a quite fun, and artsy coffee shop with lots of color on the walls. Outside on the patio it  was done in a traditional Spanish style court yard. You will find a ceiling mural on the patio cover all done in earth tone stucco to fit right in with the quaint town of Mesilla.

The Lobby.

First of all the food fare that is offered for breakfast, and lunch is fresh made.  Furthermore there is a nice selection of espresso drinks and none espresso drinks, so you are covered there.  Fresh coffee is roasted right there in a room off to the side so you can bring home their finely roasted coffee as well.

Who will enjoy The Bean?

Consequently this is a perfect place to go to for those on the road, and in need of a place that is soothing for the soul. The hours are just right, and The Bean is open 7 days a week.
