Rise Craft Coffee and Eatery
Ready to Help You Shine in the Morning.
Rise Craft Coffee and Eatery is Roosevelt Row’s newest member to the wonderful street landscape of downtown Phoenix. Rise just opened their doors a short while ago, and they are off to a good start.Rise offers a wide range of freshly made food that will satisfy almost any one, be it a vegan to an omnivore you will find food that is freshly prepared and cooked for you right there.
This cool shop is located on the corner of 5thStreet and Roosevelt Road, where the famous art district of Phoenix lives. If you walk around you will see murals and street art everywhere you look. On top of that, you will find some high-quality restaurants and eateries as well.
Rise fits exactly in that niche, they offer quality food and outstanding coffee and espresso drinks for you to enjoy.
What is the lobby like?
The lobby is very spacious with lots of room to sit and relax, there is lots of outdoor seating as well that will be an excellent place to sit when cooler weather happens here in Phoenix.
The décor is modern, but it also paid attention to the fact that the building of Rise is in a 1940’s brick house, so you have a blend of industrial modern and 40’s architecture that works very well. My favorite is the polished concrete floor that has glass marbles and glass trinkets.
Food and Coffee?
Passport Coffee should be very proud of the way Rise brews and presents their coffee and espresso, we had the house blend with our breakfast and a honey latte for the trip home and both were outstanding, our barista did an excellent job on the latte. As I mention in the beginning, the food is freshly made there and the attention paid to detail shows up in the food. I had a breakfast burrito with a cooked potato blend that was incredible, and my wife had some biscuits and gravy that totally rocked. On our trip home we had a honey latte paired with a maple and pecan pastry that made us think about all the excellent pastries shops back east. Again, those are also made there.
Overall, I say if you are a foodie and a coffee lover, this is your place to go to, Rise is new, vibrant, and will soon become the go to spot on Roosevelt Road.
