Harbor Perk, more than just a port of call.
Harbor Perk was discovered by accident, we were on our way to the Underground Railroad Museum, Hubbard House, in Ashtabula when we saw the sign for Harbor Perk. What a discovery! It is a straight up coffee shop, no lunch menu, just coffee, and really fresh coffee that is roasted right there in the shop, just feet away from the counter. So the possibility of having a cup of fresh roasted beans are better than winning the lottery. The owners are great people and the staff is just as cool. The drinks are made very well, so it is well worth the wait. While I was there I did notice that Harbor Perk has a strong following of the local population, so head out to Ohio and look up Ashtabula, then go to Harbor Perk Coffee you will be glad that you did.
The Underground Railroad Museum, Hubbard House was wonderful too.
