Coava Coffee in Portland OR is a coffee geeks final destination stop. You must go there if you are serious about coffee and espresso. The barista we had there was outstanding, they took care of us through out our brief visit with them. I am still remembering them fondly even after a week ago visit and I had visited several coffee shops in between.
First of all Coava Coffee is located in the industrial part of Portland so parking will take some skill and some luck, be persistent,yet the pay off is well worth it. I am glad I did and just not kept on driving down the road. The shop itself is located in a warehouse that is done up so artistically well, I thought I walked into a art gallery at first, but I spied the espresso machines and a group of very happy espresso and coffee drinkers so I knew I was in the right place.
Most of all the espresso and coffee is roasted to perfection, therefore each nuance is pulled out of the bean and the barista there know all about the coffee and the espresso, they serve it up well. I loved how well they took care of us on our visit there. Due to that excellent customer service I will make sure I come back for more the next time I am in Portland.

Finally if you are a coffee geek or even a coffee snob, you have not reached a higher level of coffee experience until you go to Coava. What are you waiting for? Go!
