Poulsbohemian Coffee House, historic and fun all rolled into one
Description:Poulsbohemian Coffee House is in the historic Egan Rank Building in downtown Poulsbo, it is a coffee shop with a view. I found the Poulsbohemian to be a great fun and wonderful shop to hang out in. It is a great favorite with the locals, they have Mahjong on Wednesday afternoons, a movie discussion group called the F-Group that meets on the second Tuesday of every month. Monday nights at 7p.m. is the prose writing club, and many , many more events. Truly a community coffee shop in the Pacific Northwest.
The shop itself is a treat, it over looks Liberty Bay. Brightly painted and full of wonderful bake goodies from the local baker. Stop in and fit right in, it is a great shop to call your second home.

Loved the food, the coffee, the staff, everything . . . except, all the best view tables in the back were being used by single people with their laptops. A couple of these folks took up tables meant for four customers. (I was with two others)
None of these folks looked like they meant to budge all day–I guess the coffee shop was their home office. I was disappointed. Tomorrow I’m meeting my friend at the Blackbird on Bainbridge.
