Metropolis, a place to go to for some time for yourself.
Metropolis Coffee in the Golden Triangle in Denver CO is perhaps one of the swankiest coffee shops that I have been to. They just serve up good coffee and espresso all around,their coffee and espresso comes from Herkimer Coffee out of Seattle WA. The décor is stately and inviting, but what makes this place is the people who work there and their customers. I fell into easy conversation with the barista and the regulars who go there for their morning cup of coffee or a shot of espresso. Our conversation naturally fell on coffee and espresso, and to what is their favorite drinks of coffee, not a bad way to start your day.
The lobby is worthy of any stateroom, rich interior, plush couches, a fire place and tables to where you can meet someone for a small business meeting or a chance to have friendly get together. Metropolis has a very 90’s warmth and coziness to it, a nice refuge to Denver’s busy pace.
I recommend The Metropolis Coffee to anyone who wants a good coffee and a place that is just grand as the name.
