Gold Rush worthy of rushing in.
Gold Rush Coffee is one of those pleasant finds that you come across quite by accident and you are glad that you did. Gold Rush is right off the 101 in Eureka CA on the south side of town, it is well away from the Old Town area and is the reason why they are open so early in the morning, which is great for those who like to get a early start to their day.
The staff is friendly and coffee is excellent and the food is quite good, no large breakfast type stuff, just food to tie you over until lunch, which is good, considering I don’t like a large meal when I am driving.
There is plenty of parking, the lobby is small, but done up very nicely laid out with fresh flowers and giving you a feel of space with plenty of room to spare. What caught my attention was the outside of Gold Rush, quite ingenious, caught my eye as I was heading out of town, so I turned around and made my own gold strike.
