Sweet Laurette is Port Townsend finest
Description:We went to Port Townsend up on Lawrence St, and we found this quaint bistro style shop. Sweet Laurette serves some really outstanding pastries, torts, muffins, not just your average type, cookies , and some others that escaped my attention, due to the fact that I was overwhelmed with their dazzling display case. All the pastries and menu items are made fresh there daily, by some very talented chefs. If you are out for a treat yourself day,or meeting some one who is very special in your life,then Sweet Laurette is the place to go to. The decor is brightly painted in a nice style, no over the top color selection, just nice warm colors that makes you want to stay. A outside patio that is next to open courtyard that is shared by several other businesses that was richly landscaped and decorated. The staff I found to be very friendly and polite. I had the Cafe Borgia Mocha, which I highly recommend, and my companions had a child’s hot chocolate, not hot coco, and a very outstanding latte, all served up in a artistic style. I could go on and on, but I wont, the bottom line; Go to Sweet Laurette!
