We need help! We recently found out that we can only be in one place at a time (who knew?). We want to review as many shops as we can, so we'd like to enlist your help. You don't need to be a coffee expert, just discerning and articulate.

The point of CoffeeKen is to support mom-and-pop shops and to provide customers with information about what the shop offers. This isn't about judging the "best coffee" or "most beautiful shop." If you have a bad experience, just let it go; legally and ethically we are not out to criticize or to cast a negative light on a business, and keep in mind that one man's bitter, undrinkable coffee is another's shot of caffeine. To that end, we won't publish negative reviews, we just won't publish that shop at all.
Here's what we expect:
- Honesty
- If you work for a coffee shop, please let us know. You can review your shop, and others, but we'd like to note that you are a barrista.
- If you have a terrible experience, let us know, then just let it go. We just won't publish a review on that shop.
- Curiousity - Don't be afraid to ask questions of the shop employees or owners, generally they're going to appreciate what you're doing, as it amounts to free advertising for them.
- They're going to know things like the rotation time, name of the coffee roaster, and other undisclosed information
- If they won't tell you or don't know, just leave that information blank.
- Accuracy
- Don't make it up.
- Spell check is your friend. That said, spell check can't tell whether you mean "red" or "read."
- Above all, Have Fun and enjoy your cup of coffee!

And for the motivated coffee geeks, we invite you to submit reviews of your favorite coffee spots. To do so, please read our review guidelines, register, go to Coffee Shop Reviews, click the Add Entry link on the left, login, and then fill in the form. When you're done, please click Submit. As moderators, we'll review your review to ensure that it meets our guidelines and then publish it.
If you'd like to comment on a posted review, please use the form on the Details page of the coffee shop. All comments are moderated. Please be respectful. If you have a beef with a shop, please take it up with them first and give them an opportunity to make good.
